Иисус провозгласил перед своим вознесением на Небеса: “Дана Мне всякая власть на небе и на земле, поэтому идите и делайте учениками все народы”. Затем он послал своих учеников возвестить миру Благую весть об этом спасении. После его смерти и Воскресения всерьез началась Эра Спасения.

The Age of Salvation

The Good News announced by Jesus offers salvation to men and women of every nation, ethnic group, and people.

Jesus declared before his ascension to Heaven, “All authority in heaven and on earth is given to me, therefore, go and make disciples of all nations.” He then sent his disciples to announce the Good News of this salvation to the world. Following his Death and Resurrection, the Age of Salvation began in earnest.

The Unwanted Messiah

Jesus is revealed as the Savior of Mankind in his sufferings and self-sacrificial death for others, including his enemies.

The inability of men to recognize Jesus as the Son of God until after his crucifixion is a central theme of the Gospel of Mark. Ironically, the first man to do so is the Roman centurion on duty at his execution. His self-identification as the suffering “Son of Man” made him unrecognizable to unregenerate men. He was the Savior no one expected or wanted.

I have enthroned My King

The conspiracy by the Earth’s kings to unseat the Messiah is applied in the New Testament to the plot to destroy Jesus – Psalm 2:1-6.

The Second Psalm is a key passage applied to Jesus multiple times in the New Testament. When were its predictions fulfilled, and is the Messiah reigning now on David’s Throne? Is the world still waiting for his enthronement at a future date? What about the “revolt” of nations and kings against the Son of God? Is it a prediction of a coming war between Jesus and earthly governments – (Psalm 2:1-6)?

Seed of Abraham

Jesus is the Seed of Abraham, the heir of the covenant promises, and receipt of the inheritance is based on faith in Him.

As the Gospel of Matthew declares, Jesus is the “son of Abraham.” The lowly man from Nazareth is the Messiah and King of Israel, the promised “Seed” of the Patriarch. He brings the covenant promises to fulfillment. He is the covenant heir, and our receipt of the inheritance is based on his faithful “obedience unto death” and our faith in him. Neither ethnicity nor nationality has anything to do with it.
